How to find the purpose of your life in 3 simple steps

in #life7 years ago

Finding out what fills you up and for what you were born is simpler than you think. All you have to keep in mind is to follow these 3 simple steps, and let your true passion leave that place in which you have hidden it.

1. Write down those activities you are good at doing

Look for those things where you feel like time is passing by, where work is easy to do and you use your best skills.

Do you like to read, write, play sports, solve complex problems, cook, talk, listen? Are you excited about sales, social networking, business, or painting?

Whatever you love to do, and you get along well, write it down because it will be directly related to your purpose and your inner natural energy.

2. What do you realize easily?

This is a strategy that very few people know, but it is very useful to know what you really want to do.

A person who has a mechanic's soul knows when he hears the engine of a car when he is failing, a hairdresser notices when a hair is not healthy, a marketing expert realizes when an advertisement is done wrong, a writer sees when a text is misspelled…

And you, what do you realize easily? What catches your eye when you see something not working properly?

3. Obey your energy!

Once you have figured out the two steps above, make a list of jobs or activities that fit your skills and interests to focus on one or more of them.

This will not be easy at first. It will mean that you break the cycle you have been in for a long time and where you have let yourself be guided by what you have been taught, not by what you really want.

And it means changing your life completely.

But you must be constant in this quest and above all do not let opinions or what others believe you influence you in your decision.

Many times we dedicate ourselves to something with which we are not comfortable for the simple fact that others tell us that we have to do it, or because we fear what others may tell us.

But remember that YOU are the owner of your life, and you will be the person who has to live with you until the last of your days.

So be sure to do what really makes you happy, not others.
