People (including YOU) want certain things. They (yep, including YOU again) don't want other things.
Most people like praise. Most people don't like criticism.
Absorb those ideas and you will understand humans better. You'll also have better relationships.
Praise the effort, reward positive outcomes, re-frame failures as learning points.
Every time you play, either you win or you learn
.WHAT you do with the outcome is up to you.
Big heart from the Paleo Treats crew, have an awesome day, spread love, and let's make the world a better place today than it was yesterday.
“I desire the things that will destroy me in the end.” Sure people want praise only grant them such if you wish to destroy them. If you want people to be happy challenge them, because after all, "What is happiness? The feeling that power is growing, that resistance is overcome.” I wish you all the worst, and the power to, in spite, persist.
Not sure if there's an either/or when it comes to praise and challenge. I definitely don't think it's healthy to wish anyone "all the worst", although I do understand the intention. Thanks for your contribution!
Well, you EITHER tell people what they want to hear OR what they need to hear, usually in the case of the former it will be a form of criticism. In regards to wishing people the worst, as the philosopher Marcus Aurelius stated "Nothing happens to anybody which he is not fitted by nature to bear." i wont expand on what is meant by that, however i will say this; the tragedy today lies in a life led absent of difficulty to overcome. But hey that's just, like, my opinion man.
