A society so advanced, with so much information around and still issues that we do not talk because they are considered taboo or something not necessary to talk.
IT IS TIME TO CREATE CONSCIOUSNESS
Depression is a transient or permanent mood disorder, characterized by feelings of dejection, unhappiness and guilt, as well as causing total or partial inability to enjoy the things and events of daily life. Depressive disorders may be, to a greater or lesser extent, accompanied by anxiety. The origin of depression is multifactorial. In their appearance, biological, genetic and psychosocial factors influence.
What I want to achieve is that, even if you do not have it, help. There are a thousand ways to help people with depression close or distant: campaigns, advice, call to awareness.
Depression hurts. Fuck, it hurts like hell! For those who follow me on my blog they know my situation and because of it I have suffered from depression and it is not easy, it is not resolved with a "don't be sad" "everything will happen" or blame the person who has depression because "He / she looked for it".
Depression leads to the point of physically and mentally hurting ourselves.
My advice to those who have depression:
1) If you are here it is because you know and accept it, congratulations :)
2) Look for professional help, don't stay with an opinion and look for the best expert with whom you feel comfortable.
3) Seek good people to help you get out of your rut
4) Do not become addicted to the medications you are prescribed, please.
5) Let's get out of this :)
I recommend you watch this video, feel the lyrics and dance:
Please be aware, think before speaking and moderate your character with others, we all have a bad day but we also know how much affects other people, known or not, in us.
LET'S MAKE A BETTER SOCIETY!

Thankyou @paolamerian for a wonderful post on a hugely ignored topic. I have worked as a Paramedic for the last 15 years and I can tell you that emergency services worldwide are plagued with the effects of depression. I myself suffered (and still do, but to a lesser degree) from PTSD and for some it is a daily battle just to function as a human being, let alone complete complex tasks. Thank you very much for championing the cause and allowing other to open their hearts and minds to sufferers of depressive illness. I wish you all the best in life and in Steemit :) Steve.
