This sure did work out well.
Today was an interesting day at work. We were working on a deck build and were going to be doing some cement work. On the way to work, my workmate had the opportunity to pick up a free concrete mixer. He was supposed to pick it up anyway, but we just happened to be dealing with thirty-some eighty pound bags of concrete today.
As things turned out, the motor on the concrete mixer smoked off and on as we attempted to use it, and then burst into flames for a minute. Eventually, we decided to disconnect the motor and use a drill to spin it instead, which not only worked out, but saved us a lot of time too. It sure made the day go a lot better today! Here's a few photos.

Lovely! Have had to do similar with an ice cream mixer. :)
Wow, great redneck riggin job there sir papa-pepper! lol. I'm surprised the drill had enough power to run that thing, that's amazing. Where you working now and how do you keep up with all the stuff on the homestead?
I'm working all over travelling and doing various jobs... Mostly Arkansas, Mississippi and Tennessee right now. Try to make the most of things when I'm at home... and doing more stuff by flashlight light....
Wow, incredible sir papa-pepper. I have no idea how you're able to keep posting so much!
Clever Thinking.
