I leave for one day, and this is what I get to come home to!
In all reality, this stuff is awesome. I've said before that on our team (which means in our family) @mama-pepper is the main researcher. I'm more of a "doer" who just does things. She more of the "let's figure out how to do it right the first time" type, hence, the researcher. Time and time again, this have proven to not only be most helpful, but also it makes us a great team, especially when I wait for her to figure out how to do something before I actually do it.
WHAT IS SHE UP TO NOW?
The goal here is to make a DIY Goat Milker. It's novel idea with many examples of it that can be found online. This is the type of stuff that @papa-pepper would most likely never know about, except that my wife is a researcher. By combining some tubing, an electric vacuum sealer, a mason jar, and a few other pieces, we should be able to milk our goat at the press of a button, if this project works.
Well, since her "doer" was gone for most of the day, this researcher got busy and started assembling the project. We had been tracking down all of the parts for some time now (which was more difficult that we would have hoped). Thankfully, it looks like we've got them all now, so after an assembly and dry test last night. @Mama-pepper sterilized the parts and left them to dry overnight.
I love it when my little "mad scientist" gets to scribbling in her notebook and conducting her experiments. I never know what we'll be getting into next, but at least I've got help around here.
YOUTUBE VIDEOS OF THE GOAL
This is just a small sampling of some of the videos online featuring this idea. Soon, we should be able to add our own video to the online collection. We can't wait to actually try this. Besides that fact that it should take less effort to milk Daisy, this system is actually a contained collector too, so we won't need to worry about things like hair, dirt, or grass falling into the bucket. The milk will just head down the tube into the closed mason jar. How cool is that?
here's the proof:As always, I'm @papa-pepper and
proof-of-my-wife-being-a-mad-scientist
Until next time…

this is a great research, great technology, been hope it can be useful on a long run thank for the good work papa-pepper
We will test it out soon! I'll let you know how it works!
yes sir. this should be easier and faster than using local method.
Doing the work smarter not harder. Way to go team Pepper! What?!? No more grass and hairs in your goats milk, where is the fun in that. 😂😂
The hairs will have to come from my mustache now!
Tryin to get a hair out of your mouth, makes one look like a dog with peanut butter on the roof of its mouth. Dah ha ha.
Can’t wait to see how that goat milker performs. 👍🏻👍🏻
@pappa-pepper, sounds like God has given you someone who matches with your strengths and weaknesses. Same for me. Wouldn't want to do life wihtout my wife.
Glad to hear it! He does a good job when we let Him.
Agree.
Lol this sounds just like myself and Mrs. Goldmatters! Well minus the goat milking. But she does love goat cheese!!
LOL - Perhaps we will have to make some goat cheese and invite you over!
Would love to! You bring the cheese, we’ll bring the gold :)
lol
thanks for shearing.
upvote resteem done.
A good team always consists of a doer and a researcher. This is an awesome project, @mama-pepper! It should work great and keep the milk clean!
Cool, then we've got a good team! Thank you!
Papa, could you use a mother's breast pump? You may be able to get them for free.
We had thought about that. The hand pumps could be readily available.
Lol, she plans and you execute that plan.
Thats a nice combination :D
Yeah, she's great!
and the milk will be more hysterical.
dangan this way andapun not too tired, and will quickly finish.
good luck @ papa-pepper.
this is a very good way to work @papa-pepper, in this way all the work of milking goats will be easier. @papa-pepper, I have a post about hard work, on installing Wifi.
Good idea for all to try
Thanks for sharing i will done up vote I always see your post. And follow you

this tools are so important for our daily life
Very steady @ papa-pepper ... Very creative and easy yes way milk goat milk.
His goats are also very healthy.
We'll see how it works soon enough!

Excelent video.
Good post i like this.

At first glance of the first photo, I started worrying about you 8-).
I've seen these home-made contraptions work quite well, on both cows and goats.
:D
Cool - glad to hear that you've seen them work. We are about to test it now.
All need goat milk but the way this simple retrieval is in need for the middle to upper thank you thanks for posting @papa-pepper greeting from my country
Thank you! Greeting to you!
Nice.... Thats very innovative
Nice one @mama-pepper. The love for animals obviously runs in the family. I love the efforts you put into studying and taking care of those animals. Commendable.
Well done
Yes, we have been studying and learning a lot lately! Thank you.
Your story is very interesting .. very funny to experience like that.
Awesome stuff!
can @mama-pepper start posting already? This platform needs more of her skill and research.., hehe
We will see. We got the account so she could if she wanted to and if she had the time, and also to prevent polygamy, so no one would pretend to be my wife.
I love the name 'mad scientist'. @mama-pepper is doing most work though. She's birthing the ideas. I can't wait to see the outcome of this. Keep us posted
Yeah, she did all the work this time, I was supposed t help but left town to buy sheep.
Hmmmm tools
👌
Happy family!
Always success.Haha, cool @mama-pepper and @papa-pepper.
Hahaha excellent ... amazing instrument
Good
Milking goats can be a bit of a comedy of errors, even with the best laid plans. We had a nanny who loved to put her hoof into the milking bucket. She was the matriarch of the milking goats and a wilful animal at the best of times. I love goats. They have a mind of their own...
And congrats on the new addition, just watched the video on youtube.
It'll be tough to get the foot into the jar on this one!
High tech and fancy ;)
Good
Hawwww amazing
👌
wow, very cool friend, i really like you work, and good luck.
Used something similar when I had a milk cow. It worked pretty good. probably better on a goat.
Good luck!
Just had a baby ram born! That happened quickly!
How ruff was that ride home lol. Profit!!
Baby seem ok? Momma feeding?
We are heading out to test it now!
Wow so amazing seeing lovely family of researchers
My god research on the go great works....
Let's us inform us how it's works and great work going papa
All the best for the research I'll be eargerly waiting as how it works info us
the view of the universe is so vast postings of a beautiful friend.
Amazing, thanks for the info
This type of experiments I like a lot, creativity is part of the science that makes things easier, it seems extraordinary and quite simple that with the push of a button they can milk Daisy, that's great, it's an experiment, if the is positive result should then promote and make people aware of this technology so that they can also use it. Congratulations to your entire team.
Your job needs skill, you are right expert
I was watching his video. thank you
really awesome post
wuao excelente tutorial, como se aprenden cosas nuevas cada día. felicidades a @mama-papper por su mística hoy nos enseño que solo debemos ponerle corazón a las cosas que queremos lograr y el resto a la practica.
Please show us the procedure how you build that magic milk collecting machine and how it works, waiting for next post.
Great research! I look forward to hearing how it works.
Excellent initiative of mama-pepper, women become super investigators when we must solve a situation. In this case, he managed to make that DIY with such simple instruments. My congratulations to the whole team for their accomplishment and to obtain the end that was to obtain Daisy's milk
She is incredibly amazing. I really hope it works. It eases stress and make it a whole lot easier. I duff my hat off for her. You guys are really complimentary.
Way to go Mama-pepper, you have the right idea, you do the research, make the design, and give it to Papa to do.
If it works Mama is a hero, if it fails Mama is a hero and Papa is a dummy 'cause Mama's things work, just that Papa didn't do it properly this time.
