Hello guys, @pasaift here. I know you may be thinking that this topic is just off, that it doesn't seem to make any sense. Well allow me to elaborate. Inspiration for this post actually came from something i read. So here goes.
To attain a certain height of success, one does not only need friends, but also enemies. Your enemies tend to be a driving force, a propeller towards success. to prove this, most people when asked why they want to be successful would say that they want to be comfortable, and also not be mocked by outsiders. These outsiders could be rephrased to enemies.
If we look at this from another perspective, it's your enemies that would try to intimidate you. With this intimidation, you tend to be more courageous. When in need, your enemies won't help. They would give you No as an answer. This would actually help you in becoming independent, and learn how to handle situations on your own. That your boss that layed you off in your company,he is an enemy right? But if you don't get layed off, would you ever start up your own business?? What of the landlord that we all refer to as being wicked. He actually made you uncomfortable in his house, till you got fed up and started building yours.
These are just some illustrations to back up my point. Do not misunderstand this post and then go about making enemies, thinking that by doing so you will be successful. Nah!! I just want to point out that people we regard as enemies have actually helped us grow in ways we may not have known.
Remain Blessed.
@pasaift
Fascinating thought. Every great mind has opponents. @ironshield
I get your point but I might have said we need competition, goals and challenges. Enemies are just difficult people and they are certainly challenging! LOL
Lolz. Quite true. Your definition of enemy though
I dont need friends, i need enemies,lol
Love your sense of humor
It is an interesting point of view.
In my honest opinion, I think it depends on our character. I know people who are introverts and I am sure they do not need any enemies. On the other hand, there are humans who love to rival. They need enemies. For example, I need enemies. They are pushing me to dig deeper, but I am not sure if it fits everyone :)
Yeah yeah, this may not apply to everyone
I got your point, people we regard as an enemy always give us challenging task to make us a better person
valid points you got there, but i beg to differ with the choice of the word enemy.
They are there to pack up the plates after my meal. Well they can ginger you up, so much so that in a bit to prove yourself , you do something daring and worthwhile.
Nice one bro.. For me, I need just friends oo. No mind to keep enemies
So I think I will need more enemies 😂😂
