Don't know who or how many reads my posts. I am not always out for "upvotes" but mostly want to encourage everyone. Sometime I do serious post, sometimes a colorful one and I even take a stab at a little humor. Maybe a combination.
Attended my "best friend's " funeral yesterday (this is not him) and it was and is a reminder of how short life really is compared to eternity.
The things I do to "try" to do to maintain a healthy life style. Like eating right (not good at that at all). As for exercise my disability really hinders me from doing much. So I search and search to find the right combination of vitamins and minerals to help maintain my health.
I try to be faithful and follow my doctors instructions but that kind of diet is "no fun" or very tasty. Sometimes (probably more often than I would like to admit) I fail to do so. This is what I take of a morning. And take a different combination of an evening. I has helped a lot. The doc says to keep doing what I am doing.
In the midst of all the struggles and trials of life I try to find a little humor. I saw this on the table at "work" and thought I would share it with you. Don't know if you can read it or not but it says free.
I didn't take it. I left it for the next person. I didn't really have need of a paper towel at that time. As we know the best things in life are free. You probably could list a few things if you give it some thought (I won't here). Have a great day.
Im sorry for your loss :'(. You're right life is much too short. I guess we can take comfort in the fact that, like you said, we are free to seize the day and make the most of our time!
Hope you stay on top of your health.
Peace!

@pastorike
Just as you have shown in your post. If we take this temporal life too serious.
We will miss out on what it was all about in the first place.
That is to serve Him in a life of righteous living.
Which we have failed at miserably. Or at least I have.
Thank you for reminding us of the brevity of this physical life.
