Continue From Reality is Harsh...

After this project was completed, another issue was occurs for 3 of us. Boiler master company is not allow us to stay together with their worker anymore. Due to no more projects with boiler master and all the house are full of the worker as well. Last time we stay one room 4 worker for 3 bed rooms’ house. But now 6 person for 1 bed room and living room as well. Toilets, washing machine and kitchen are always busy all time. All together 20 people staying at 3 bed room apartment. Very squeeze, smelling, cannot sleep well. Bed bug are everywhere at our house. Sometime when we go out this bed bug always come out from our back bag or shirt. It was very shameful experience for us.

Our new place to stay was industry area, our salcon office place. One of the delivery driver was come and wait down stair and we go to our office place on one Monday. When we arrive every one look at us like stranger and they are just to preparing one empty container for us. After they finished they call us and said it is for us they prepared. So we put all our staff into the container than ask where to cook. They said not ready for the lighting because electrician was on leave so they can’t do for us. And tell us where the nearest coffee shop is and remind us that after 6pm they will close shop. We buy our dinner and wait container to cool down the temperature to stay inside the container and we made it without light in Singapore for one day.

Our old friends’ bed bug was no place to stay with us anymore because of the heat. Bu at the evening our new friends’ mosquitos and rats come and introduce us. We cannot sleep for the night. Toilets rooms are far away from us about 200M away from what our container place. The next day morning we wake up early as usual but no one wake up yet and straggle to find toilet. And another thing was about 7 pm, after sun rise we can’t stay in container anymore because too hot and no circulation air. At the office hour, our department boss show up and assign us to help general store and follow up with our accommodation.

He called electrician to get power supply and light for us. We managed to get to know some Myanmar worker from our company but we found out that they are different department with us. They are staying at old work shop office which is much better than container. One of the guys was come and explain to us the situation was where they are staying place was over loaded and no place for us at the moments. He made friend with us and start to say that we should have bicycle for buying grocery for our self. It was about 3 KM away from us to go there.

They seems to us happy to living like that but for us, we used to stay at public area and use to it with all the conveniences facility for about 3 years. Everyone amaze that we already work for more than 3 years for same company. Anyway we start to work at general store and report to store supervisor. He was always straight and talk very soft voice. We cannot catch what he said and not used to it with new environment of work life. In store they keep water treatment equipment, materials and refectory materials. Everyday busy with water treatment projects and workshop fabrications and suppling refectory materials.

Every morning we need to sweep the floor, it took half an hour to completed the whole store for 3 of us . This supervisor was riding motorcycle to come to work so he always arrive very early to work. After sweeping the floor, we need to prepare the materials for delivery for morning trip, at same time doing other preparing all the fabrications items to sends workshops. Receiving the goods for all the water treatment projects are also new skill to learn for us. It is quite busy for every day.

And I need to inform him that I am studying evening class to get the permission to go school after work. He was surprise and happy and said to me you can go early to leave from work. This time was although very far, I have time to shower and changed my cloth to go school. But reach back my place at about 11.30 PM. cannot get overtime for Sunday and two evening a week as well. But this time can cook for my meal every day.

To survive financially for school fees to pay for myself and I skip the dinner to have at the school and get my dinner when I reached back my place. I can’t effort to have cup of coffee to save my school fees and send back money to home.
