But I have been well treated and everyone are like big family, so I become enjoyed the environment and try to find out more about the nature of work from this company. NatSteel has started at since 1961, last time people called National Iron and Steel.

She was pioneer and key partner in Singapore’s nationwide building efforts and produce the products for construction re-rebar. Last time it was one and only supplier for Changi International Airport and all the public housing and that is the trademark of Singapore’s landscape.

NatSteel mills operating is operated by electric arc furnaces to melt all kid of recycling scrap and use about 450 kilowatt hours of energy to produce the billet bar.

Some of the billet bar we export to oversee and some to produce any side of re-bar steel to go through rolling mill for construction industry.

NatSteel is one of the largest single downstream rebar fabrication operations in the world. And also only with local steel mill what we called upstream and fabrication of cages, mesh and even precast (downstream operation), where we start the process form collection of recycling scrap to fabricated according to customers’ needs.

For my time NatSteel was no more under Singapore government share and become public shareholding and they name as NatSteel holding limited. She has a branch of Australia, Netherlands, Malaysia, Thailand and Hong Kong. People ae working at there for more than 10 over ears and some are more than my age of service.

But I did not find any for what my interest and I become start to worry for my experience hunting plan. At first few weeks, I used to visit my Ex-company and express my felling about my job nature and thinking of finding the job at new industry in future.

But I remembers one word that my friend told me was, “this company is standing for more than our ages and if I feel that not so good” mean is not the company issue. It must be my mind set issue.

It was true enough because I want to learn for more mechanical fabrication projects. But meantime I learn that what I can learn anything from them and continue my daily life.

For this company my privation period was six months and need to give notice for three month after I submit my resign letter. This team and condition was really bother me and also make all the people to stay with the company.

I still buy newspaper for looking for the job and apply the job offer that which I really like. I get some interview but not get the offer because of they cannot wait for three months’ notice period.

Unless I pay back for the notice period and I can leave from the company. It was really challenge for me and I can’t pay back for three months’ salary because I don’t have any saving and also don’t have confident to do so.

You are correct. When someone joins a company and then realises that they don’t like it, it’s reallu difficult to leave because of so many reasons one of them being the probation and the salary like you mentioned. I wonder what happened next
