At the beginning, if your child at the toddler years stage, either your wife quit from the job or employ full-time Foreign Domestic Worker to take care of your kids. You have to apply work permit for them and need to pay levy $270 for your mate to the Singapore government.

It is not include for buying insurance for your full-time Foreign Domestic Worker, medical check-up fees for every six month, which is not include for their basic salary.

But for the Singaporean to hired maid, they can apply for levy subsidise from the government and they just need to pay only $60. So this subject is like apply for those who are not Singapore citizen or something like that.

For applying your kid to get into government pre-education school, it was like buying Lottery in life. They put 50 days gap for a child who are not a Singapore Permanent Resident. And it is clearly status at the government web site that, as admission is not guaranteed for who are not a Singapore Permanent Resident.

The children are need to look for alternative education options for plan-B, even we register our child during Phase 3 of the Primary One Registration. So need to find private school or international school for our kids.

Interesting thing is hiding in the chapter. Some people can enrol for private school which is 12K below per annum, which is priority for Singapore citizen, Singapore Permanent Resident and EP holders.

Some can apply only such a school that above 15K per annum Private Schools or international school for our kids. International school fees is 30K+ per annum and open for every kids, which is middle income people cannot effort to pay for their kids.

Government ask private school to increase the number in Singapore and they help this private school to get their student in this way to flow into their set up plan.

If your child get the government school, you cannot choice which school or where the school is nearby your house location. Even if your child get into government school, the school price are really high compare to Singapore citizen $13.00. For the Singapore Permanent Resident $143 for primary education, if you are from (ASEAN Country) need to pay $ 403 and for Non-ASEAN students, the fees will need to pay $613 for monthly basic.

They will offer for your child to go school that wherever they have designated location and you many need to hired transport for your child. If the school have transport service to your area, you can join their bus services. But if the bus service are not routing your area, you may need to find your own way to school for your kids.

After our kids get public school, government allow us to apply student pass for our kids. It was link by ministry of education and Immigration & Checkpoints Authority of Singapore, so get student pass for your child is smooth process.

Some Private Schools are not supporting for student pass issue, which is school fees amount of $10K to $15K per annum, depending on which private school you have selected.

We have to do many research to ensure that the private school is recognized by the Singapore government and will benefit for our child before enroll.

The school is not good enough with their school lesson, we stay need to find tuition for their second language. It is compulsory to take who study in Singapore since they start from pre-school education.

Overall the school syllabus are good compare to the world. They have a strong education system and recognized around the world. We have good leaders and teachers and facilities that one of the best in the world.
