Today was a beautiful sunny fall day in Philadelphia and we both had the weekend off so we decided to grab brunch and do a long walk to enjoy the day.
Here's our route through Philadelphia from where we got brunch at a Lebanese restaurant called Manakeesh, walked through the University of Pennsylvania, through Rittenhouse Park, along Sansom St. to Washington Square Park, and to the Philadelphia Bourse. The Bourse has been newly renovated and so we wanted to go check it out!

Manakeesh Cafe Bakery
We really love Lebanese food. This isn't our favorite place, but it's a great spot to grab brunch if you're in the U. Penn area.
Mint tea with real mint leaves and the house Turkish Coffee
Lebanese chicken curry crepe with a side of hummus, baba ganoush, and labneh with fresh pita. The food was great as usual and is a reasonable price!
Starting our walk on U. Penn's famous Locust walk.

The Bourse
The inside renovations are still underway, but many of the stores have had a soft opening
We will plan to do another post on the Philadelphia Bourse once it fully opens and will also go into some of it's history.
Hope you enjoy our post as much as we enjoyed our day!
