Getting rid of regrets

in #life18 days ago

Have you ever wonder what if you can turn back time and change the wrong decisions that you made in the past?

I was thinking about it earlier and wonder if it will actually fix the things in my life that gives me anxiety. Turning back the time is already a complex thing to do since it may also affect every good thing that I want to keep at my present. It's not as simple as selectively solving some issues and then maintain the ones that I like. Eventually, whatever changes I make in the past will also alter the good things in my present life.

I would like to believe that my present is the result of the many probabilities that could happen in this life. If this is the probability that becomes my reality then it has to be the life that I should be living.

Regrets make this life complicated. They make me think deeply about the wrong decisions in the past which brings me uncertainty about the future.

I'm not really sure if I can achieve the life that I dreamed for myself but it seems that at the end of it is going to be a fulfilling one as I accept that I did all I can to make the most of it.

Instead of dwelling on the what-ifs of the past, maybe the real challenge is making peace with them—learning from every wrong turn and trusting that they’ve shaped me into who I am today. Life isn’t about getting every decision right; it’s about moving forward with what I have and making the best of it.

I may not know if I'll ever reach the life I once dreamed of, but I do know that as long as I keep pushing forward, embracing both the lessons and the uncertainties, I’m already living a life worth remembering.

So, here’s to the journey—flaws, regrets, and all.

Have a great day!
