We spotted a really great wall today while cruising through the city. Unfortunately, it was dusk when I stumbled upon this street art piece, so I was unable to capture exactly how flourescent it looks.
This rattlesnake piece is full of Southwestern imagery, with Navajo prints, the Zia sun symbol, Kokopelli, and others. It's a little cultural celebration of the region, found in East Downtown Albuquerque. The violet background contrasts beautifully with the turquoise, rust, and pink of the snake.
Nothing like bright orange tulips in the middle of February to remind you that spring is right around the corner.
And you gotta love those mountains.
Beautiful tulips. It seems spring is coming!..
That is awesome pic my friend.

Wow. Love the art work on this wall
Nice. I'm liking the street art shots. That one is pretty cool. I wouldn't have guessed that it was a rattle snake. The teeth threw me off a bit making me think it was some abstract dog like creature. But I see it now that I've read the description. I like all the southwestern imagery. It seems like a very culturally influenced piece.
