Or did it? Do let me know, if you know of something good that came from a pessimistic view on life.
If you're aware of UK politics you may know that there's a whole turmoil going on with Brexit. And frankly, I'm bored to death of those who keep rabbiting on about how awful it is, how the world is going to end, how the pound went down a bit.
Who gives a crap? Sorry for my bluntness but of all the amazing human feats, would any of them have been possible with a pessimistic mind set?
Did the people who landed a probe on Pluto say 'oh, it's not going to work because it's so far away'?
Did the people who launched the International Space Station say 'no way, it's too big, it'll never work'?
Did those building the channel tunnel say 'we can't do that, there's all this water in the way'?
Why are people so negative??
I just needed to make this rant. Hope you don't mind, haha.
I just deeply, deeply believe that an optimistic mindset is SO important in life. By the way, that's not the same as the 'happy, happy, positive, shiny, everything is great when it's not really' mind set. Optimism is more... authentic and mature. It says 'yeah, things are challenging, but we can make this work'.
Why is that so hard for some people? WHY? Do tell me, someone.
Ok, I'm done ranting. :D
