Ciara is on her way! Oh yes she issssss!
It's been a while for us to be warned for a storm! They already scaled the warning from yellow to orange!
I love storms but I can also understand that it can be a real pain up the bum!
Lucky for us here, we don't have many storms but this one is a big one!
It makes me wonder if our small country can handle it to be honest!

The last storm blew roofs of houses and I do believe that this one is much bigger! In all honesty, I think we will get bad weather a lot more with the years to come. We already face a winter with no cold and snow and the temperatures in Summer are rising like a pro! I wonder what the water levels will do after this storm! It happened before... in 1953! Perhaps I am just blabbing away in my own fantasy world and this storm will pass with no harm.... We will have to wait and see!

We already took everything off our balcony just to be sure! The storm will be at its peek in the evening!
A few years ago a smaller storm broke a tree in front of my house and I can still recall the sound of the breaking! Not scary, just a sound I won't forget. I think there will be a lot of damage after tomorrow and not just in the Netherlands. Lucky, we built stone houses here but I have seen damage done by smaller storms to cars and tree and yes, even houses. I am not scared but cautious? I dunno if that is the right term really! The river is around 30 meters away from me and my house! ((Shivers)) But, don't worry, I am safe at the second floor! LOL LOL
Thank you for reading my post!
Best wishes,
Snekky
Im in the UK, we are getting strong winds at the moment, worse to come next week. I hate wind. Stay safe :)
I hope the storm doesn't cause any damage for you Snekkie.
We have strong winds at the moment here in west Wales, but it looks like you are going to get it much worse.
What is with that tiny little bit of purple way down at the southern part of your country far from the coast? In any case, I hope you stay safe. Please tie down all large loose objects outside and close all your windows tightly.
I am seeing a lot of posts about this storm right now. Hopefully all are safe.
