Cooking jollof rice

What a beautiful moment of cooking jollof rice...
A friend of mine had a birthday today and asked me to cook for him,so I prepared jollof rice.
I went to the market and bought some ingredients like: tin tomatoes,onions,thyme,Maggi,bay leave for spice,salt,fresh tomatoes,fresh pepper ,curry powder, fresh fish and rice ,.

I washed the fish and blended the fresh tomatoes and pepper together,

I poured groundnut oil in the pot then I allowed it to get hot so I can fry the fish

Then I added the onion to it and tin tomatoes to fry .After some times I added water to it so it can take the quantity of rice I want to cook

Then I allowed it to boil for 5 to 8minus before washing and adding the rice and a little salt to it..

I then cover the pot so the rice can boil for 30 to 40 minus.when I opened the pot the rice was ready for consumption

hmmm it was so wonderful,so I brought the pot down from the gas

hmmmmmm .time to eat....

and I served every one in the room ..all enjoying the meal.
