Beautiful simple ceremony! When I have trouble feeling something, I use the affirmation "I'm open to the possibility that i can feel grateful for..." then/or "I can certainly expect to be feeling grateful..." then graduate to "I Feel Grateful!"
I learned some fantastic affirmations in Ananda Yoga Teacher training and an Emotiinal Freedom Technique training. Louise Hays has been an awesome influence, too..

Ananda Yoga is really interesting because every pose has an affirmation that goes along with it.. Yoga and dance are such powerful ways to embody the energy of an intent.
