Scientists find astonishing evidence of rapid changes in the Arctic

The climate of the planet is incredibly complex and scientists still find some consequences of global warming. In the latest study, scientists, led by teams from the Oceanographic Institute in Massachusetts, discovered that global warming changes the chemistry of the waters of the Arctic Ocean.

In particular, scientists have discovered an increase in the level of radium-228 in water. According to the group, this led to the melting of ice, which previously contained many substances.

"We assume that at present there are significant changes in the chemical composition of the Arctic Ocean, which can affect the biological productivity and diversity of species in Arctic surface waters," the researchers write.

And this is just the tip of the iceberg. Additional wave activity can draw more deposits from the bottom into the ocean, cause coastal erosion, which will lead to an even higher ocean temperature rise.

How to resolve the situation, scientists do not know, only methods for preventing such situations are known, so the team calls for more research on the composition of oceanic water.

The changes are part of the greenhouse effect. Hopefully, humans will stop destroying their our own earth.
