This is hands down one of the most impactful stories I've read on Steemit. I'm biased because I shared a similar upbringing, but still it is such an accurate portrayal it brought me back to places I've made peace with but still hurt. Thank you very much for this.

It's funny to think back about how these things make an impact on our lives. At the time it's happening you don't even know you're going to make it through it. It just shows how we can overcome any obstacle great or small as long as we keep pushing forward.
