Thank you, @artguru for this reminder. When I first got on the platform I would write at least 10 comments per day. Sometimes others would acknowledge my comments but often times they would not. So basically I started interacting and engaging with users who would acknowledge my comments. As a result of the interaction I made some wonderful friends.
The other day my reputation score had just turned 55 and I commented on a post telling a short story about my tax experience. I was upvoted by a whale and my reputation score went up to 56 after only a few hours of it being 55. I did not even know that was possible, but I was excited that I had made the effort to tell my story.
Yes when we actually get engaged on the topic, that's when things start to happen.
The fact you spoke on an experience you had, it brought in the human factor. That's whats so appealing.
