A little late, but it is important to talk about.

TL:DR right? You may have noticed the unassuming title, "Bill 89, Supporting Children, Youth and Families Act, 2017" is totally misleading if you decided to peruse the long-ass page to see wtf they talk about.

Basically, they want to empower the irrational and impressionable minds of kids to ruin normal family dynamics. If little Jimmy wants to lop off his meat and two veg, then by God we HAVE to support it. However, Jimmy is FORBIDDEN from buying alcohol and tobacco until he is of age. Ridiculous.

This bothers me even more because I'm a pharmacist in Ontario and sometimes decline service to those who are on hormone treatments. Most of these people are riddled with mental health issues; anxiety, depression, drug abuse and denial are the most common. The last thing they need are hormones that mess with your emotional and physical state. Thank God the law still protects my right to refuse service no matter how angry a patient can get with me. It is as if I'm a presumptuous asshole who hates people because they're different, but the truth is I'm just looking out for your health. Dr. Steve Brule puts it so eloquently in this video:

For your health indeed.

Now I don't go full moralist on folks because I got a license to protect, but if Jimmy CUTS HIS DICK OFF to call himself a woman and get fucked by dudes, it still makes him gay. So how about he just leave it on and live as a gay dude. Lets all just put this extremist ideology behind us. Canadians are already very open minded people. People with alternative sexual lives were already tolerated and the worst thing that could happen to you was being called a faggot. I was a nerd in school and I got bullied. My response was to just start a fight and the same should apply to being called a fag. Punch your bully in the face and call it a day.

Yeah so getting back on topic, share this and put the pen to the paper. Write to your local representatives and fight for your rights and the welfare of the next generation. Kids have the right to be raised in an environment devoid of confusion until they are mature enough to tackle the world on their own. The slippery slope exists and you don't want to hit rock-bottom.
