Conquer yourself

in #life7 years ago

It is not the Mountain that we conquer but ourselves. To be a able to achieve any success in life, we must first of all conquer our self. The external mountain that we see are only a reflection of the real mountain within. In our attempt to conquer them, we learn the art and therefore go on to conquer our real enemy - ourselves.

We need to conquer our fears, our laziness, Our beliefs, Our laziness, Our learned helplessness, The scarcity mind set we adopt. We need to tame our body and programme it to synchronise with the efficiency and effectiveness of our spirit. A great man once said “we are created to live, not to prepare to live“. But our bodies must learn to live and they must learn of our spirits by adopting and adjusting to it in all ramification. Until this happens the individual will not experience true happiness.

What we tell our self is the thing that shuts it down. Many people are very happy to say “this is too hard“ or “I give up“ they deny that they did not follow through with the process. When you set a goal for yourself and pursue it with discipline, you are under way to conquering yourself. The real world challenges are not the issue, we are the issue. We only use them as our vehicle to self actualisation.

Many say they want to achieve a goal, they are not serious. They are lying to themselves. If they really wanted to, they will do it. But because they didn't really mean it, their body also shut down. Their fear is stronger than their resolution and their commitments not enough.

One thing we must be an expert of is our self. Its the only tool we have to conquer the world. You can not be fighting the world at the same time fighting you. No, you must conquer one first. After conqering yourself by overcoming your personal idiosyncrasies, it will be easy to take on the world. The secret is; use the things (in the world) that challenges you to conquer yourself, and use your(conquered)self to conquer the world.

These taught are not really new to you, are they? Surely not, but now it echoes again. What are you going to do? Crack the code? Yeah! You should DO that.
