The Significance of Imagining. Neville Goddard's writings to ponder.

I recently had the opportunity to introduce myself to some of Mr. Goddard's material. It was due to my need to discover new approach to my thinking. I had to get myself out of a tight spot in my mind which I had thought myself into.

Do you ever find yourself stuck in a seemingly dead-end position of your rationally operating mind? A position or a spot, if you will, where nothing points to an acceptable resolution of a problem or a circumstance?

Well, I found myself in exactly that type of a situation one week ago. It was the third Sunday morning of this month, when I came across a book my wife had purchased online. The book had just arrived. My wife was busy with working on her most-beneficial-foods-to-eat list that morning and I picked up this fresh arrival. I am not going to disclose the title of the book, because I want to do justice to the contents of the book by writing a separate article on it later. Let me just say that this book contained many quotes from Mr. Goddard - the main reason I am actually sharing this with you right now.

So, here I am, on this Sunday morning noticing and picking up this book from our family room bay window sill. I am not sure if I had enjoyed my morning coffee by that point, but I felt this special connection to this book. I already felt like somehow it appeared in front of me because I was so desperately seeking answers to a couple of questions jammed in my brain. Jammed. Yes, jammed- like a bunch of logs on a beaver dam clogging the stream of thinking and flooding the few precious brain cells left working in my head.

As I am going through this book of about 200 pages, I am noticing that I reached the middle of it rather quickly - after only a few hours of reading! For me, this only happens once in a while. This book is filled with viewpoints I had never come across before. It is past noon now and I am sensing this need to slow - to stop and think. I put the book down. I am thinking and organizing some of the concepts in my mind but can't stop wondering about the way this much needed book came to me at just the right time!

I am sharing this with you because quotes penned by Mr. Neville Goddard have had a profound impact on my thinking. It was Mr. Goddard's thoughts that stuck with me - deep and powerful.
