RE: RESIST

in #life7 years ago (edited)

Hi all! Sorry for being too late to the party. I think I have an alternative. Of course, @firedream, I'd be willing to work on any project you need.

Let me first push out a proposal though https://steemit.com/utopian-io/@r351574nc3/proposal-subscription-model-for-steem-services

This is basically a proposal to reform bots altogether. I want to do subscription-based bots (not just voting) for users. Users can subscribe to services that bots provide through SP delegation. Services are retained as long as delegation is continued.

I recommend this as a solution because it's possible to deploy a voting bot to this platform that uses delegated SP from subscribers to give them benefit. It doesn't take your SBD/STEEM and only grows through curation SP; therefore, the more it curates, the more it grows. Thus, you would be cultivating something to eventually combat the demon cat.

Right now we see people who opposes and who wants to resist.
If my way fails, I am sure that someone will come with an alternative method that works, from the lessons derived.
FD.I read your proposal, it is a revolutionary idea in total but I am afraid you can not use it for resisting @grumpycat. People will delegate their SP to you for a benefit and if you start fighting with it, this means you will be spending peoples SP delegations most probably in a fight that they don't want to get involved. A quicker way should be what @contentjunkie proposed, create a void account, request people to delegate SP to it and fight with it but again this will depend on peoples trust.

I get you, that may be so. It sounds like more of a home for where @contentjunkie's solution would live.
