RE: 4 Pro Tips for Getting Rid of Your Kids' Stuff without Them Realizing You Are the Worst

in #life7 years ago

I do my annual toy purge in July when my University has a resource fair for our student parents - it's a great time to donate & then I get a sense of which Christmas and birthday presents are winners and losers.

Nathan and the children go to the zoo for the morning.

Getting them out of the house! Smart move! I like that you have a designated time. It takes away some of the whelm.

It does! And frankly, I sometimes feel Nathan is more attached to the things than the kids are. It is most helpful for him to be gone.

Reverse that and it’s me and my partner. LOL. I have trouble saying goodbye even though I LOVE getting rid of stuff. It’s strange.

Hey, we all have our quirks. It's what makes us amazing, right?

Absolutely!!
