Pool party sounds the way to go.
It's the curse of the modern age... People always go for their tech, even when there's some type of keys-in-the-box type sex party possibility 😂
I was a co-host at my ex's 6 yr old party once, they had a bouncy castle.
It was a disaster... in that i basically bounced the party away drunk as a skunk. The kids loved it but a bunch of dckhead parents were being massive dick-ensians about it.
Parents tend to be dicks in a lot of circumstances. I can't stand most of em!
I was at a kids party where the host was offering beers out and it was only me and him that had one, the looks we got were ridiculous!
Yeah, that sounds about right. I wasn't the only one drinking at that birthday party, but to have fun bouncing on the castle.... a travesty.
A few of the parents were like "is he ok?"
As if i were a fckn nonce hanging out at a scouts picnic.
People are just knobheads sometimes, the kids were having a wail of a time as they'd figured out that if they jumped as i landed it would launch them into the clouds.
My ex's house was right by a main road and i often wonder what the local commuters must have thought seeing these kids bouncing up above the level of the wall 😂
Anyway, i got shamed off the bouncy castle after about 20 mins and poor Sofie (my step daughter who's birthday it was) stormed off in floods of tears. Once again, i got looks from the good folks like it was all somehow my fault.
I dunno, an adult having fun and making a kids birthday even better with my shenanigans... FCKN DISGRACE! 😂
An OUTRAGE!!
Yeah, I have been on the wind ends of the disapproval from other parents for joining in with the fun. Probably not for not working at the weekend. I can count on one hand the number of cool parents I have met over the years. Most of them are nobheads!
