A note on human nature: We tend to glorify the actions that give us pleasure and dump away things which keep us away from attaining pleasures. Truth. Epicurean.
But the fact that the #NoFap movement (Abstaining from #porn, masturbation and orgasm for a particular period of time) has been gaining hundreds of thousands of members everyday is quite an irony. Why on earth do so many people willingly put themselves under the torturous chains of pleasure-less-ness for such long periods of time? The answer, obviously, is that abstinence delivers the practitioners with a much more pleasurable or, rather, beneficial outcome.
Recently I decided to personally experience what all this fuss was about. I decided to abstain. I did not follow any official guidelines as such. The bare rules go as follows:
1 No masturbation to orgasm.
2 Avoiding touching the genitals as much as possible.
3 Avoiding porn as much as possible.
4 Absolutely avoiding touching the genitals while watching porn.
I have been practicing it for a week now. Conservation the spermatozoa cells; mingled with seminal fluids.
Results:
Absolutely impressive!
• My social #skills improved notably. The people I felt "awkward" approaching were suddenly like family to me. Yeah a little hyperbole but you do get it
• I started feeling more confident about myself. This is probably an offshoot of the improved social abilities.
• Laziness started reducing. I started going to the kitchen and opening the fridge myself (OMG!) and dig out food. Well, jokes aside, Nofap increased my general enthusiasm towards life.
• Mere thoughts and even emotions, like love, started inducing sexual arousal within me. Before this, my imagination powers did not raise my soldier even a centimeter! Thus, indirectly, sex and sexuality began to reconsecrate within my psyche. A realization that emotions and thoughts play a much bigger role than bobs and vagene dawned upon me. Divine Wisdom!
What more, it is not just a personal experience. While discussing Nofap with my friends, they too came up with astonishingly similar experiences. The NoFap movement is not mere propaganda. Nobody profits if you don't wank off. On the contrary, the porn industry flourishes when you use it for firing your squad. Yes, so much for metaphors
All said and done, I am not telling you to masturbate or not to masturbate. I have, here, just introduced you to the real, solid proofs propounding the positive effects of abstaining from masturbation and conserving your precious seed as the positive effects of doing the contrary are already quite self-evident.
I, thus, introduce thee to the new Hamlet:
"To fap, or not to fap..."
Our sacred energies should not be wasted ;p
Interesting topic that no one likes to talk about!
Exactly! Ancient texts have been repeating this again and again.
