It is amazing how much progress has been made. I can look back not even 5 years ago and it seems like a lot of the problems we have been improving were just accepted as being part of life. I don't think we should ever accept the ways things are as being perfect, because they never will be, but when you take a step back and see the progress we've made, I think it's okay to be proud of ourselves and our victories. I hadn't ever considered Plato's cave in the way that you did. Thanks for the perspective.
