“Lisan seorang yang berakal berada di bawah kendali hatinya. Ketika hendak berbicara, maka ia akan bertanya terlebih dahulu kepada hatinya. Apabila perkataan itu bermanfaat bagi dirinya, maka ia akan berbicara, tetapi apabila tidak bermanfaat, maka ia akan diam. Adapun orang yang bodoh, hatinya berada di bawah kendali lisannya. Ia akan berbicara apa saja yang ingin diucapkan oleh lisannya. Seseorang yang tidak boleh menjaga lidahnya bererti tidak paham terhadap agamanya"
