My Home Screen

in #life7 years ago (edited)

Earlier today I shared a picture of my home screen on my phone in a discord message with the weather on the top to complain about it. Then I went off on a little rant on how each item there described who I was and got me to do a little self reflection and now I'll share it with you guys too.

The red part is just my exact location and I don't want to share that so I blocked it off.

So lets get to discussing.

The first row has 3 social media apps, and then google sheets. Great organization. Of those, I use instagram and snapchat a good amount and twitter very little. Google sheets is used for multiple reasons, but recently I've been using it a lot for STEEM related things because of how useful it is.

The second row is even weirder, it starts with my email from outlook(formerly hotmail). I like it because of its organization, but like everyone else in the world, I also have a gmail account. Then comes Amazon. I love Amazon, the online shopping for cool stuff on it is just amazing. Right after that is citi, where I can see how broke I am and realize that I can't afford anything on my amazon wishlist(which has broke $50,000, all of cool items, some which have been steemhunted, others not). Thats then followed by my data counter, which I don't know why I have because I have unlimited data. Guess I keep it around to see how much Verizon is gonna hate me this month. Some months are crazy with me using a ton in data, and this month has been on the low side.

Then we have the third row, it starts off with discord, which I use for both gaming and Steem related reasons. Then comes the play store which I haven't used in a long time. I haven't downloaded new apps for a while. My gallery is after that, I like to take photos and so I gotta look at them somewhere. Finally is youtube with 160 notifications. I watch a bit too much youtube.

The final row has my phone(this is my phone after all), messages, internet and camera. All things that we expect even on the most basic of devices. This is what came from the factory and I like it enough not to change it.

But the most important thing is the top part, the one with the time and weather. I've always used something like that on all phones that I've owned because of how awesome they are. You get to see what time it is, and how cold it is out there.

Thats all for now, just felt like sharing that today. I'll be like @foxon tonight and leave you with this:

Y'all have good

Sort:

Typo in paragraph 5, should be second row, not second account

Grasias mi amigo.

y’all have good

? Is that an inside joke?

Thats how @foxon ends his posts so I stole it for this post.
