I keep running into people that are stuck in shitty relationships.
Their partners won't let them do certain things, or they will lie to them or cheat on them.
I was in their situation. You can yell "DUMP THEM" as long as you want but it's not a decision that can be done by someone else
I've had my share of bad relationships. I was in a highly abusive relationship 7 years ago.
He would beat me regularly, prevent me from seeing my friends and family, ģuilted me into giving him most of my money ( he owes me thousands to this day) , and so many other horrible things happened to me. I managed to leave him after 5 years of us being together.
It was hard. But I did it. And I ended up in a house with an emotionally abusive roommate. It was not ideal.
I left that situation and almost ended homeless.
And moved across the country. I lived in Quebec and bow love in Manitoba.
I thought things would be better but alas...
I moved a total of 6 times in 4 years. Not fun.
I was in 3 more relationships throughout that time. Once with a drunken asshole, once with a cheating asshole, and once with a guy who obviously has commitment issues.
Today I'm with a wonderful human being. He loves animals as much as I do. We live together with a cat, a dog, a bearded dragon and 13 tarantulas.
He's thoughtful and patient and so intelligent.
We're building a future together and is being so supportive of my projects. I'm not used to this type of kindness and I'm over the moon living with him.
You all deserve the same kind of happiness.
