I think 💭 it is not ethical to upvote your own post. Yeah at some point you can see your article and say that woow I did well and decide to upvote or you have high steem power and say that with my 1 upvote........ But by posting you were posting to contribute to the society. So let's the society judge what you have done
This is a very good point and I do think your right. It's up to the people on Steemit to decide whats good or not. I think upvoting your own within reason fits into this as well.
Good topic... honestly I agree with you and I feel like if I had the steem power I would be upvoting myself atleast once a day.
I don't upvote myself right now because I feel my vote isn't worth much and dont feel like raising any eyebrows for right now.
If I get to the point where I feel like my own upvote will make a difference, I would do it, and like you said I would do it accordingly.

I agree with you 100% I was actually kind of shamed for pivoting my own posts on my meditation blogs where they were very long and I spent hours writing them and getting photos and gifz together I don't pivoted my daily Tarot readings, but I felt kind of harassed by the user who shamed me because at least 2 other users jumped on board and started on the same thing. I actually lost the account password for that account. This is my second account. I will be doing better with this one.
Yes, as long as you still upvote other people. I mean you either put in the hard work or money to get all that SP, it's ethical to get some kind of return from it imo.
Otherwise people would just delegate their SP to a bot and you're not helping anyone but yourself by doing that.

I agree with you @awpmaster. For example we are as a new comer, we have do anything to write or post some pictures with a quality post. But the facts, we dont have anything except null vote because we dont strong. Dissappointed ?? No !! But we feel not fair only. Than useless we vote ourselves. Thanks, I am sorry if I wrong. As a new account you should definitely upvote yourself, will get you more SP so you can grow :)

It doesn't seem ethical to me, but I can see why some people would do it. I personally wouldn't do it.
