삶과 스티밋
전혀 관계없는 두 명사를 생각해 본다.

삶은 누구에게나 다양한 모습으로 다가온다.
때로는 다른 모습으로 다가오지만 우리에게 똑같은 인상을 불러일으키기도 하고,
때로는 똑같은 모습이지만, 전혀 다른 생각을 하게 만드는 것이 삶의 일부인 것 같다.

스티밋도 그렇다.
어쩌면 크게 보아 하나의 방식으로 다가왔지만,
삶을 대하는 방식에 따른 다양한 사람들이 모여
다양한 인상을 만들어 간다.

Life and Stimit
I think of two nouns that have nothing to do with.

그 다양한 방식 속에서도 정말 미세한 작은 차이 하나로
사람들은 소위 천국과 지옥을 오가는 사람이 있다.
글 하나 그림 하나 항상 사람들에게는 지옥과 천국의 문이 열려있다.
하지만 무의식적으로 늘 가던 지옥 혹은 천국의 문고리를 잡아 그 열기에 흠씬 두들겨 맞는다.

천국이나 지옥이 아니어도 좋다.
그냥 나를 괴롭히는지 아닌지에 따른 나 자신에 집중해 볼때도,
우리는 무의식적으로 나를 괴롭히거나 놓아주는 방식을 무의식적으로 열고는
그 무의식을 후회하고는 한다.

어느 영화에서 말했듯
인생은 일인치의 싸움일 수도 있다.
일인치, 그 일인치가 우리가 다시 돌아갈 수 없는 길을 나누게 된다.
