Salt of the Earth
Do you really know that you are the salt of the earth? Are you surprised?
The statement that you are the salt of the earth means that without you, the earth cannot be sweet.
Hence, the sweetness of this world depends on you.
One of the ways by which you can be like salt in your world is through the words of your mouth.
Always speak soothing words to the downtrodden never use harsh abusive and bad words and ensure your words are healings rather than causing damages and killing those who hear you and those you are suppose to maintain.
Another way to be the salt of the earth is to show kindness to others.
Do you really know that your little act of kindness is a great factor in making the world a west place for some other person to live in.
These include the hungry the prisoners the sick those who have no clothes and so on.
You are the light of the world, so also you are the salt of the world.
It is just so unfortunate that most people in this wicked world is yet to know that they are the salt of the world instead they are living as the bitter of the world which is not supposed to be.

Salt has lost its savour is good for nothing but should he cast out and trodden under the foot of men. You may say.
But this world is a wicked place, how can I use nice words and perform kind acts in such a place.
Well what really is that is exactly the point.
When you cook a cup of rife, you don't ads a cup of salt to it. The salt is always little compared to the ride.
You should not expect the whole world to be salt too. It is your duty to influence others with you savour and bring out the sweetness in them.
You cannot afford to become bitter just because others around you are bitter.
What we should learn and what many people are missing in their life is that, that the crowd or multitude are doing bad does not really means you should join them to be bad.
Remain the salt of the earth. Don't be weary in doing good.
Your reward will surely come if you don't give up.
As a Christian in this world, we share similar characteristics with Jesus Christ. Now, if you have the great characteristics that Jesus Christ had while on earth, why are you hiding them.
Do you really know that light is supposed to really shine whenever there is darkness. Why do we sometimes then go in the midst of darkness and hide your light.
Jesus never shield away from shining the light.
In the earthly ministry of Jesus Christ where ever he goes, he always shine the light visibly.
Jesus never shied away from shining the light of the gospel on anyone that he saw living in darkness.
Darkness can also mean confusion, when people are confused and do not know what steps to take, they are in total darkness and we as a light, our responsibility is to bring them out of the darkness they are into the glorious light God has for them.
But ask yourself, are you really doing that or you are running from it.
When you find yourself amongst people who need direction on what next to do, you should ask God for guidance to clear the darkness. Don't join them in being light under a bushel
The fact that you are there should give them confidence and not let them even lose their confidence. It should give them direction will soon come because they really know you are the light and they are in darkness and what do light really do, they shine so you are to shine.
Also, you must really not that light usually goes off when disconnected from its source. The reason many Christians have stopped shining as light in their world I'd because they have really lost their connection tovthe bulb from electricity. It will go off.
