Thank you so much @torico! That's exactly what messed me up so much about it, the whole "knowing the powerlessness of what could have been" thing. It still shakes me to my core today just thinking about it honestly...but I'm trying to move forward now and just focus on the positive fact that he came back to us and he is still here today :)
