When There Are No Solutions: The Politics Of Navigating Bullshit... (Part TWO)

in #life7 years ago

First, if you haven't yet read Part ONE of this story yet, I'd highly recommend doing so here.

Though as a quick recap, we were exploring the subject of problems, solutions, their nature, their hindrances, and the twisted dynamic of the subconscious' bullshit complicating this whole realm.

Herein, we continue exploring this perplexing domain in which we all inevitably stumble into sooner or later...

Problems. They happen. Solutions. Sometimes they're obvious. Sometimes not. Sometimes there can be no solution.

Life doesn't give much of a fuck about our ideals. It has its own agendas.

Sometimes it can get frustrating as hell to witness the amount of bullshit propagated in this dimension as these 8 billion humans make their way through their growth processes, and it seems like everything would flow a whole lot smoother if the B.S. could just be dropped and people would grow up, accept responsibility for their shit, and conduct themselves with higher degrees of integrity and honor.

But, this is life. Not a fantasy.

And no one is obligated to live up to our ideals.

Thus, people shall do what they do. They shall proceed through the course of development their life path entails. And, there may be many fine lines upon which approaching, we may be tested in our own abilities of discernment to gauge when it is appropriate to call others on the bullshit they attempt throwing at others, and when it is more appropriate to disengage and allow them to continue on their paths of ignorant bullshit-propagation.

And the distinction between the appropriateness of those two responses isn't always clear.

On one hand, if people are voilating the rights of others - whether by outright hostility, or covert judgement and subtle manipulation of context to elevate themselves at others' cost - then it might actually do more damage than good to withhold feedback, given the destructive patterns would be more likely to continue and result in more rights being violated.

Yet, just because we think that we might know "better" and have some elevated insight into the dynamic playing out does not necessarily grant us the right to impose our ideals of how others should conduct themselves on them - even if they are being immature, manipulative, bullshit-projecting children trapped in adult bodies.

The world is full of people violating these fundamental laws of nature, inflicting unjust judgement and projection of misplaced bullshit on others. Though as fucked as that might seem, the awareness of this taking place doesn't automatically grant any of us the prerogative to set upon the mission of educating others on the nature of their misdoings or enforcing the belief that the world should be any other way than it is - as messed up as it may seem that people can go around causing chaos for others in covert ways that they get away with.

Depending on the angle one looks at all this from, such could be deemed a problem in many regards.

And, they may be ones for which there really are no solutions.

And so it is. Or has been.

Enter the realm of politics.

Perhaps it'd be more truthful to relabel the phrase "politically-correct" as "unwilling to call out bullshit due to fear of backlash."

Though, perhaps the social-construct of political-correctness has in some way served to restrict the freeflow of bluntly-honest feedback which could border on overstepping boundaries, so as to preserve the freedom for one to make their own mistakes and dwell in realms of bullshit should that be what their evolutionary growth process requires.

I don't fucking know.

Any way it goes, perhaps there never is the absolute black-or-white clarity in answers and solutions the mind grasps for.

Maybe there are no "problems" but in the sense of that limited construct of where our consciousness and restricted understanding meet within a select frame of time. Maybe all solutions are inherently unfolding in the longer timeline, organically developing and expressing themselves as we move through space to unveil new angles of perspectives from which all becomes clear.

Though were that the case, that's still no excuse for causing conflict and chaos where we know better.

Yeah, we all have our own forms of bullshit lurking in our shadows. And we could try rationalize its projection outwards all day long, attempting to divert attention from where the work needs to be done to create the solutions to our own problems.

Though eventually, we all gotta wisen up, take responsibility, and pass the character tests.

And who knows... maybe parts of those tests entail being drawn into the conflicts perpetuated by others' bullshit and sitting with the effect of their disturbance on our peace until we grow to recognize the only solution is to permanently root ourselves in a vibration of compassion - empathetic to their struggles and the state of where they're at in their development, tolerant of their mistakes because we know they really don't know any better at this point and may not for some time yet - and practice such compassion until our resilience to the temptation to lose our balance in the face of life's never-ending "problems" strengthens to the point where we 100% encapsulate the full essence of the quality of "unfuckablewithness."

We may not be able to force anyone else to grow up and quit creating problems at the speed we'd like. But at the least, we might be able to lead by example by transforming ourselves to embody and radiate the wisdom we'd wish others to integrate for the benefit of all.

Who knows. I could have it all wrong, too.

Maybe at some level, we are entirely responsible for what appears in our lives, and others coming along to cause chaos is somehow a manifestation of our own subconscious bullshit. Maybe the reasons solutions aren't clear and nothing changes is because we have been getting in our own way and eliciting chaos on the screen of our reality because we are still immature, in the context of a larger developmental process in which eventually we may come to grips with the power we have to transform what shows up around us.

Maybe we are the problem. And the solution. And the only territory required to be navigated is our way from one end of the spectrum to the other via an expanding awareness of how the dynamics of these processes are unfolding.

Or some shit.

Everything is responsible for everything ready hard to blame anyone if you just think to how something little and very far can have a huge impact one you, unlikely but still can

"Or some shit." hahaha

Oh yes.

So, what do you do when you wake up in a body that you don't recall as yours?..

You learn, early that it is all basically a shit show here. ^_^

hehe. I gotta give credit to my soul sista high priestess for the introduction to that conclusive phrase...

Wow, part 2 rocks the truth too ! It sounds like you are my age, thinkin out loud about all the BS that we endure in our lives if we give any fucks about anything, and especially everything.

I have come to the conclusion that I can't change the world or people or their constant BS. All I or we, can do, as I tell others, is to come to a "Personal Responsibility" to do the best we can for ourselves and the ones we love and care about. I have raised four children (17-35) and have always, (As with any and everyone) tried to give "Direction, NOT mandates".
Being old doesn't mean I have all the answers, and certainly do not assume or imply that I do, IDFK either !
So I say breakout the

and do the best we can with what we have to work with.

Thanks so much for reminding me to just let the BS go, and focus on what is of "Value" to pursue.

Thanks Bro, I try to get people to understand the distinction ... One promotes encouragement, one promotes rebellion ... imho
