About Yesterday

After work yesterday, I couldn't help but decide that my day was rather mean than good and horrifically exhausting.

I was about to leave my place of work after an almost busy day, when a last minute customer begged to be attended to. Usually I have this guy I like to tag along with whenever its close time, but because I needed the money I took said customer up on her plea and let him go without me.

20 minutes later of "Miss annoying" customer trying to teach me my own job, I was ready to go.
Good thing though was that the payment she made was to be very useful because I'd already spent it in my head. I'd planned to pay a part of my tfare home with the money and also get me something to drink while I trek the rest of the way from a certain junction to GRA where I reside and where also one has to take drops to get to.

And yes, the distance is a long one,in case you are wondering.

Anyways, I boarded a bus, got to my junction and decided I'd just hurry into Shoprite, get a drink for a cheaper price, probably take a few sips then begin the missionary journey of trekking home.

Only that when I get in, select a bottle of 60cl Fanta and decide to go pay at the counter I was faced with a semi-long queue of customers waiting to pay for their items as well.
I decided, hy lemme try see if the customer who's purchase was already been bagged would be nice enough to help... She was.

Bummer though it was when during and after the payment she didn't ensure I'd get the balance of my purchase. How mean!

Don't judge me, I know its just N80 buh hy, I'd planned for even the last penny of it. I was totally at a loss of what to do and of how to ask for my balance, that in the end I had to take my Fanta, cut my loss and be grateful I didn't have to stay in the queue seeing as I was desperately weary and tried.

I mourned the loss of my 80bucks as I dragged myself all the way home.

You'd mourn yours wouldn't you? Seriously, I need to know😭😭😭
