To begin with I want to describe the matrix of the time management for you (square of Eisenhower). It is division of your initiatives in a day to four quarters.
With the help of the matrix two factor-s determine the time management the urgency and the importance.
Urgent tasks it so which must be done immediately.
Tasks valid for it so which are outweighing for achieving our professional or private purposes.
- Important/Urgent
There everything what you are delaying to the last day is. It is necessary to deal with these matters immediately and it isn't possible to resign from them.
Important phones, meetings, tasks are included in it with the assigned date.
- Important/Not urgent
It is the most important part.
We should spend the 70% of our activities here. They are these are things which are moving us closer to our dreams, however they aren't urgent matters and we can put them off until later.
- Unimportant/Urgent
These are activities which are not important for you, for example. Somebody is coming with a request to you for doing something, you should at once disqualify it since you aren't a puppet for fulfilling other whims!
- Unimportant/Not urgent
Here entertainment is, relaxation and different devourers of the time like for example a press or the Internet. It isn't possible of course entirely to give this quarter up, but we often spend time in it definitely too much.
