What do we call depression?
How do you know if one is depressed?. Well I am not here to tell you much about this but I would like to know why people feel that when they are uncertain about things they are depressed.
In recent time, the society is beginning to share more knowledge about this, speaking to people about mental health and how we should study it more. We have a lot of people with so much promise and prosperity written all over them but when they are at a crossroad in life they begin to feel they are depressed.
Being in a limbo does not mean you are mentally down or depressed. Do not be quick to write off your lack of motivation or inspiration as a state of depression. That is why we have hospitals and doctors for that. Do a proper clinical diagnosis before labeling yourself as a depressed patient. If you feel stuck in a phase, there is always a way out.
Sometimes we feel we can't leave this limbo state and through this process we feel less fulfilled. Many people dwell in this state and are permanently there till date but I believe in leaping out of it by learning life lessons quickly and moving out of it. Learn to move when you feel like you need to.
For every limbo phase, there is always the need to move, do not ignore but act accordingly. Move when you feel too relaxed with stuffs and you are not getting fulfillment or deriving joy from it anymore.
The limbo phase is like a bridge between where you are now and where you will be. It is not a state of depression but a state of uncertainty. Move your feet and occupy yourself. Staying too long in a phase might bring about depression.
Yes you might have lots of ideas and opportunities but still feel restless and stagnant, move because the more you stay and think, the more your energy gets drained and motivation gets lost. This might lead to a mental breakdown and you then start questioning yourself about things that are not worth it.
Move before you sink, a limbo state is a learning curve in life. Learn how to move along in yours.

Deppression is a very serious state of mind. It is very difficult to leave the limbo state. I know this. It feels like you have no more energy to act.
Many of us tend to exagerate and call themselves depressed when they are actually only stuck in a moment of helplessness or when they simply lack the move to do something about their current situation. I think we should think twice before we label ourselves as depressed seeking attention or pity, as there are thousands of people out there who really suffer from this plague called depression.
