If all else fails, JUST DANCE ~ DAY 7 OF 7 day challenge to MOVE THAT BODY

In creating this challenge, my aim was to provide 7 ways in 7 days to get people up and moving after the holidays with no gym membership, easy exercises and as little time per day as possible as the biggest hindrances and excuses to people exercising on a regular basis are:

  1. Need an expensive gym membership
  2. Don't know how to do the exercises / need a personal trainer
  3. Don't have the time

Dancing is the epitome of just moving the body. All you need are some tunes that makes you want to move ... and your body.

Some of the many benefits of dancing:

Putting on your favorite music and dancing just puts you in a better mood. Movement creates energy flowing to and through the body. It increases our energy vibration, which increases our mood.

Dancing is a stress reducer. It has been proven to be therapeutic for the mind and body. Music in itself is extremely therapeutic but when you combine dance, you are completely in the moment, not thinking about past frustrations or future worries. You could say it is moving meditation!

Dancing does not need any special equipment and you don't need to go anywhere. Just put on some music and start moving that body right where you are!

Today's challenge:

Create a playlist of 4 of your favorite upbeat songs
Hit play and dance!

I felt amazing but tired after that 4th song had ended.

Dancing is very good for the body! and the best part is that I love it. Very good challenge, I will be attentive to the following :)

Yes you don't catch many people saying I dread dancing :) It's fun, easy and it works so many muscles!
