I started mining in Dec of 2017. When the GPU Prices had peaked.
I remember I was willing to pay upwards of $450 for one of these RX470, RX480, RX 570, Rx580.
At the time, Nvidia Also peaked. GTX 1060 $450, GTX 1070 $899 and GTX 1080 $980.
Vega 64s were close to $1400.

Fast Forward to May 2018-
RX470, RX480, RX 570, Rx580 prices are around $300-$320 range
GTX 1060 $329, GTX 1070 $599 and GTX 1080 $649.
Vega 64s are now close to $856.

Did you mine durning the last 6 months?
I did and I can say the price decrease isn't something affecting me. I am looking for new releases.
It is expected that Nvidia and AMD will put out new generation of card out this summer.

We are planning on expending our operations, but we are holding out for the gen cards before we do.
Thoughts on prices dipping?

Feel bad for those that bought high priced cards in the last 6 months!

It was worth it in my case. I got in as high as $400 per card max.

Right on, thats not TOO bad.
