This is the story from an Indian mythology.
When the princes were young Grandsire Bhishma arranged a feast for them. All the 105 Pandava & Kaurava brothers were present there.
Before starting Bhishma said;
“Today there is a simple rule for eating, nobody will bend their elbows. Now you all can start.”
All the boys look at each other in confusion. They start trying different ways to get food into their mouth without bending their elbows but the efforts were in vain. Vidura and Bhishma start laughing at the scene in front of them, foods flying everywhere.
Yudhisthira is the only one who doesn’t try anything & suddenly he has an idea.
He takes a piece of food from his plate & holds it in front of Duryodhana’s mouth. Duryodhana looks at him in confusion. Yudhisthira smiles saying;
“Why bend our elbows when we can just feed each other ?”
