“Most” of us wake up everyday and go to a job that we couldn’t care less about/hate. We wake up and slave for rich people at desk day in and day out, monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday saturday, sunday and monday again. January through December, decade through decade but whats the point? Does anyone know why humans are on earth?
One thing I consider a reason to be alive, is to explore and experience the world.
We’re an indirect product of the creation of the universe and at the same time we’re (maybe) the only ones able to observe and experience it. So I think thats what we should do because this universe is too crazily magnificent not to be experienced by anyone.
The universe, our galaxy and first and foremost our earth is such an amazing place that we just HAVE to experience a big part of it if we want to be fulfilled at some point.
So yeah, working a 9-5 job every day for someone else has no other great purpose than allowing you to raise kids who might then experience the world in a special way or even change it for the better. So go do one of those yourself (and I mean you, me and every human other human :p )
At the same time you can choose life to be whatever you want. There are no rules written about it. For some people its just making a lot of money and owning a lot of things. For others its simply raising a family.
I believe that apart from experiencing and appreciating our reality in the short time we can, making the world better or simply being happy are the best way a human can live his life.
