If you haven't seen Marvel's Infinity War yet, then you should skip this post or maybe not.
This was one of the most brilliant comedic skit in the film, and here, as this line was freed into reality, everybody burst into laughter in the cinema. It was a very wonderful extra that we should really be grateful for, but this post isn't about the movie, as true as how that line was just the funniest extra in all that is the movie.
This post is about moving on. This is one of the most complicated truths in our life, and here is just an input or two on how moving on must be according to my few years of existence. I can't really consider myself as an expert at this, as whoever might be could be part of some ridiculous espionage agency of sort.
Like you, I have been to a few heartbreaks. It is funny to think that after all the happiness we get from someone, they still could tear us apart, limb from limb, even if they already left.
Here is where the "Why is Gamora?" joke plays. See, we may be too happy at this very cluster of a moment, but that doesn't mean that this is all that is your life. Well, it can be, but maybe this is just a chapter too.
I guess we can put it at that moving on is living through and living in. A whole book or movie could all be because of a chapter, and that can be your life too. Just that you shouldn't be too stuck at a chapter shouldn't you. Life can be about the past, but it shouldn't stay there. You must live the present too.
So basically, moving on is not about extracting memories from your thick skull and destroying them permanently. I think that moving on is more of a learning to live through life after all that had been.
So if you are trying to blindly just go into some state of amnesia, then maybe that isn't the right way, right? What if you then remember? Would you let yourself succumb into the pain of what you haven't accepted again and again every time you are reminded? Or would you just rather want it all to be clear as crystal, where you know your place, and you know theirs.
Why is Gamora? See the movie, and I hope you've moved on.
