If you ever visit Zagreb, you will notice coffee shops at every turn. And they are never empty - whether it's 8 am or 8 pm - Croats sit and drink coffee.
In Croatia, the day begins with cup of coffee; we drink it during breaks at work, and even afterwards. We drink coffee at home, in a cafe, in a restaurant after meal. Probably only nightclubs in Croatia do not serve coffee ;-)
With coffee, often come cigarette and newspapers. We also drink coffee with family, friends and colleagues. Coffee time is great time to gossip :-)
The price of cup of coffee in cafes is from 6 to 15 HRK. Most expensive is in the center of Zagreb. Where to drink good coffee, I'll write in upcoming posts.

STOPSićam se kave od 26 kuna u hotelu esplanade di san odveja sestru za vrime mog faxa... za kavicu si skroz u pravu, već 17 godina jednostavno - nema doručka za mene. samo kavica. počelo ja sa velikim sa toplim mlijekom, pa hladni, pa mali sa hladnim, pa espresso... jednom su mi uvalili bezkofeinski, a to zoven depresso. jedna od mojih ljubavi u životu se zove Illy i to je predobra kavica... danas sam na tome da jednostavno strunem 7-8 espressa na dnevnoj bazi po Šibeniku... samo šta na mom stolu, za razliku od tvoga, uvik stoji i kutija sa slikom operacije pluća... pozzz
Istina @dummar022, u hotelima je kava pravi luksuz. Svaka cast na 7-8 dnevno, toliko ih ni ja ne rijesim, stajem na 3. Illy je i meni najdraza, ali volim i Franck Stretto. A kutija je standard i kod mene, valjda ih tu jos nisam stigla izvaditi :-)
