Except you're winning, most things in life will seem unfair to you.

The truth is life is just playing by different rules.
Let's look at life from different perspectives.
Life is a Competition: That Job you like? Someone else will kill to have or even wish you get sacked so he/she can get it. That girlfriend/high paying job you wish for, someone else also wants it. That course you want to be the best in, someone else also wants to be the best on that course.
In life, we all in competition,we just tend not to realise it. Never fall for the idea that there is no competition going on. People dress up to win partners, they interview to win jobs and so on. If you deny that competition exists, you're just losing.

Our Idea of Fairness is Self Interest: We like invent moral authority.
Our parents tell us this, Our teacher teaches us this. Be a good boy and have some biscuits.
But in reality, things are different. You read so hard for an examination, yet you fail it. You worked so hard at work but didn't get a promotion. The girl you love so much, won't love you back.

The problem isn't that life is unfair, it's our broken idea of fairness.
People have an innate sense of right and wrong and we always expect people to think our way, if they do otherwise, they become a bad person to us. We hate our teachers/politicians because what they do to us is unfair, they tend to do things that's not our way. You believe they should, because you're unquestionably the greatest authority on everything in the world.
It's true they might be wrong, but the circumstances which led to their decision might or is different from yours. Their priorities might be different from yours.
But however they make you feel, the actions of others are not some judgement on your being. They’re just a byproduct of being alive.
Can you imagine how life would be if it was actually fair to everyone? No one will have fear of heart breaks in a relationship. Companies will only fail if those in it are bad people.
Most of us make mistakes on how we think the world should work that we can't see how it does. But facing the reality might help to understand how the world really works.
fairness is getting what you produce. Capitalism is based on slavery and oppression.
