Do you want to keep your New Year's Resolutions for longer than a week?
In 2012, Time magazine listed the top ten most-broken New Year’s resolutions. They are (not in any particular order):
1. Lose Weight and Get Fit
2. Quit Smoking
3. Learn Something New
4. Eat Healthier and Diet
5. Get Out of Debt and Save Money
6. Spend More Time with Family
7. Travel to New Places
8. Be Less Stressed
9. Volunteer
10. Drink Less
The statistic brain research founded that 45% of people that actually set New Year's resolutions; only 8% end up actually achieving them.
I believe there are inability to sustain our aspirations come from the fact or exist because we have defocus on changing the external or trying to change things on the outside inn when actually what’s required is a change from within, the change from the invisible world that is internal.
The thing is that that when we focus on a deeper motive or a higher purpose or deeper meaning in life, actually then we can affect an impact in the outer space.
Simon Sinek says that when we understand why we want to do something we can inspire effective change as opposed to when we just know what we wanted to do.
It was Gandhi who told us that we find ourselves when we lose ourselves in the service of others.
Who would you spend time with determines what you dream about what you collide with.
It’s almost that your scope enhances when you spend time with advanced being who help you find meaning in the seemingly uneven situations of life and you know it's extraordinary how Change Your Life Starts by changing the circle.
There is one saying that you can get high with a less help from your friends, and yes you can get high over when you get more help from your friend.
I mean it's amazing when we immerse yourself in positivity encapsulating grows yourself in an expansive energy that can transport you to a new place.
When you spend time with people who amplify your inner potential and not your external infirmities and insecurities.
As human beings we have this fascination with the end, we always want to know what happens at the end of a book, we want to know what happened to the end of the movie.
We remember the last time but not that many in between and therefore we have this tendency to focus on the result and not really we focus on the course or the method or the journey.
It’s amazing that 1% successful people talks about how would you focus on the journey and not the result and actually we should focus on the transformational period and find joy and see joy in the actual process.Those people actually wait for what's actually coming to them.
It was Leo Tolstoy who said that the changes in our life must come from the impossibility to live otherwise rather than just a mental resolution to one in your life.
You can never take the world higher than where you visited internally. Just remember it's not about how slow you go just as long as you don't stop.
