A bowl of water

in #life23 days ago

The days are arid nowadays. So, I often watch the birds and the animals who seem to be searching for water. It does not snow here, and there are not many dew drops to satisfy the thirst.

The plants are also affected, if we do not water them, they will soon dry up.

A bowl of water if kept outside will be really helpful for the birds who feel thirsty. You can keep a bowl of water on the sunshade or just on the wall of your house so that the birds do not have to stoop low to drink a sip. A large basin of water can also be kept outside.

As for the animals, make sure that your farm animals get to drink enough water and if you come along strays that loiter around, well, you can keep a basin of water outside your yard.

Watering plants daily is a must. If you are not available, arrange for someone to water the plants instead. Also, water them either during the early morning hours or later in the evening. Watering plants in the afternoon sun can make it wither.

That being said, always remember to carry a water bottle with you when you travel. It is best to stay hydrated and also ensure that you have safe drinking water with you.

There have been warnings of another virus spreading. So, be careful and make sure to drink the water that you have brought along. It is also good to wear a mask and carry a hand sanitizer with you.

If you live in a cold region, try to plant saplings meant for the particular season. If you do not have a yard, you can always plant in a pot and keep it on a window sill. Once you experience being a farmer, you will truly strive to become one.
