On our side, we hear many people say, my brain works much more than you, huh! One more common thing is that we use 10 percent of our brains. Often, many spiritual people are also able to find that they use their brain power to do many unimaginable tasks. How true is the claims? If the idea is true, will we be able to possess any supernatural power using the rest? Is there any superman sleeping in us? Awaiting to awaken.
We must go back to solving this mystery in the 1800s. The origin of the incident is from a researcher of two scientists. Harvard philosopher and psychologist William James and psychologist and physicist Boris Sidis conduct research on William Childish James Sydis in 1890. This William James Sydis was so talented that at the age of 11 he got a chance at Harvard and had mathematics and his skills on almost 40 languages and dialects. This William James Sydis was the son of psychologist Boris Sidis. At one point in the study of this child, the scientist gave William the doctrine, people are not using their mental capacity to the full. This doctrine has given the doctrine of the whole human race based on just one teenage power. There is no doubt about this as a complete non-scientific idea and faulty research. Maybe this theory of scientists did not last long. But American author Loyle Thomas (Lowell Thomas) wrote this theory to William's famous author, Dale Carnegie, for writing in the book 'How to win friends and influence people'. There, with the theory of Lawell Thomas, 10% of the work was added. He said, Professor William James often used to say that people can use only 10% of his latent mental energy. And this book by Dale Carnegie became so popular in the time that the book, published in 1936, sells more than 3 million copies worldwide. And in this way a wrong doctrine spread. Moreover, in the other books of that time, this same trend revolved in different ways. Later, another scientist, Karl Spencer Lashley, walked the same way. This scientist sarees more than the previous scientists. This gentleman believed that the content that is stored in our brain is not stored in a particular part of the brain, if any part of the brain is removed, then some memories will be lost in that ratio. Scientist Leslie took the field to prove his theory. The knife-scissor ran on the brain of the rat. In 1939, the brain removed some tissues of the mouse and said that if only 2% of the brain is visual thalamocortical pathway, then the mouse can differentiate between the visible objects, and if the cerebral cortex of the brain is reduced to 58 percent, the rats do not have any effect on the functioning. . For this test, the rat is allowed to walk through a labyrinth and the mouse comes out on the other side. But here it goes, if some tissues are removed or damaged, some specific tasks may be possible and here the mouse has been used only for one purpose. No more difficult work or testing was done. Which is not proven from the fact that the mouse is able to do all the work properly in a part of the brain. The idea of using a small part of the brain after this experiment was deeply ingrained and in the nineteenth century scientists really believed that a large part of our brain was unused. Scientists are studying how the rest can be used, continuous research continues to help people to understand how strong the man is, and what is hidden in that part of the brain. It is also heard that in different secret laboratories, the remaining 90% of the brain can be used to make super-human or super-sulasar. On the other hand, the media continues to create various advertisements, movies, dramas, composing this misconception. Even today, in many Hollywood movies, the hero knows the secret of using the whole part of the brain in any way, or becomes a superhuman by getting the full power of the brain by accident, lightning, injury. In this case, the 2014 film Scarlett Johansson is mentioned about the popular movie 'LUCY'. When it was shown that a drug was inserted in Scarlett Johansson's blood, he would be able to possess God's powers by using the whole part of his brain. Which is only possible in Hollywood movies.
Let the reader go and let's know why this idea is so wrong. Dr Barry Gordon, head of the Neurology Department of the John Hopkins School of Medicine, located in Baltimore, America, blames this theory. He said that our brain is the most expensive organs of the body, but the brain is about 3 percent of the body weight, but the brain uses 20 percent of the body's energy. If 90 percent of this was unused, then there was no need for so much energy consumption. We are directly and indirectly using the entire part of our brain. However, he also said that yes, we sometimes use 10 percent of the brain, such as sleeping, while taking rest, we have to use the brain whole. He also said that 10% of our brain is neuron and the remaining 90% is the glyal cell which is not directly involved in our body's work, but its work is indirectly helping neurons. Neuroscientist Professor Barry L Beyerstein also presented various evidence for this concept, some of which have been highlighted.
A) If we really used 10% of our brain, but if some part of it was damaged, we could have lived a normal life, but in reality, if a brain tissue is damaged then it is not possible to live a normal life and its effects are deadly.
B) He has shown through the brain scan that why we do not go anywhere, our brains are always effective.
C) Neuro imaging shows that all parts of the brain are still active in some parts of the sleep. Some parts of the brain become silent only when it comes to serious harm.
D) Using single unit recording, he undergoes small electrodes in the brain and observes the functional method of the neuron cell. If 90 percent of the neuron sew was ineffective, then it was caught in this recording.
If you have ever heard of the reader coming around you, you will not listen to someone who is using a lot of brain to do something extravagant. We're using full power of our brain. Only the person who knows or knows what you do not know. We can increase brain performance through practice, proper application and hard work. We can also do all. That's why the boy in the last bench of the class may be doing Ph.D. at Harvard today, one of the worst students of the day may be winning the world today.
