The issue of people wanting things "now" (read: spending over saving) and having a habit of saying I will get to it "at some point" (read: do not want to deal with reality of it) causes some many to have little to nothing saved for retirement.
Which leads to the last sentence you hear "I will just work till I'm dead" which is said in a joking way, but it's the reality in those causes. Doesn't need to be that way!
